Phil added, “I first worked at the venue in 2013 at the wedding of Becky & Chris and again this year for Kate & Alfie, on both occasions we provided our SoundProof package which takes care of all the wedding photography and music. We emailed several DJs, but most of these were not to our liking. Phil was the only one we met in person, and after speaking to him we did not hesitate to pay the deposit for our wedding at Westenhanger Castle !
He is so easy to get on with, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. He was very prompt with all communication prior to the big day, and the end product was outstanding.
We booked Choice DJs Soundproof package, meaning Phil was also taking photographs during the day. This meant he spent around 15 hours at the venue on the day, but despite the long hours he and Julia remained a pleasure to work with throughout.
The set up of the equipment was finished hours before the guests arrived, so there were no distractions in the background. The lighting and effects were top notch, matching our colour scheme perfectly. The sound was perfect too and the music went down brilliantly.
Phil had a great rapport with the guests, who all felt comfortable approaching him with their requests. He kept the dancefloor busy until the end of night, catering amazingly well to all kinds of tastes and personalities. All our guests enjoyed the evening immensely thanks to Phil. He takes some great photos too, and some of these were put up very quickly on his blog a couple of days after the event.
I would definitely recommend Choice DJ, and the SoundProof package.
