New Years Eve saw one of our most extraordinary events at Salomons, A Kentish Wedding Ceremony magazine features the event in its latest issue. Click here to read the review in the magazine on pages 88-89
The event was the Civil Partnership of Julian Childs and Phil Edbrooke, but this was no ordinary event and underwent months or meticulous planning. The end result was a day that will never be forgotten by all everyone involved. The couple returned from their honeymoon in Thailand to learn that A Kentish Ceremony had been in touch with photographer Helen England to run a feature on the extravaganza.
If you are considering staging your wedding at Salomons then the theatre boasts one of the most incredible surrounding environments we have visited, for this venue though you will need a 7000 watt sound system as it is a large room and a small system will simply be lost. Julian and Phil also booked 20 red uplighters to match their colour scheme and bring the ‘Moulin Rouge’ feel to the venue. We didn’t install a dancefloor for this one but you would need to consider a 20×20 due to the size of the room.
