DJ Phil Webster is currently recording a number of demo mixes covering all genres of music upto the present day which will appear over the coming weeks on Mixcloud, a music streaming channel designed as a platform for Professional DJ’s to showcase examples.
Phil said “The demo’s are purely to show my versatility, the arrangement of songs and the ability to mix music rather than just pressing the start and stop button. Wedding clients music tastes in particular can vary greatly as some will want Party Classics incorporating possibly Jive, Motown and Rock so the demos will give examples of how I would arrange certain sets, others will want Latest Chart music with more of a Dance theme so its important to showcase the mixing ability in that respect. This first example was just an off the cuff funky house mix from over the past decade but over the coming weeks I will be putting together plenty more including 80s Soul, RnB, Club Classics, 90s, Garage and Latest Charts as well as all your Party Classic examples”.
