After Saturdays first visit to Savill Court Hotel in Surrey, Bank Holiday Monday saw us return to one of our more frequent venues back in Kent at Lympne Castle for the wedding of Charlene & Billy.
Our most popular package at Lympne Castle is our uplighting package, what we normally do is uplight the doorways into the hall and the window arches, however its not possible to set up before the meal due to the space. The meal usually ends around 630 so this is when we go in and dress the room and set up the disco for the evening which is usually done by 730-8 depending on whether timings run to schedule earlier in the day.
Lympne Castle is one of our favourite castle venues, but very few people are aware that Folkestone is also blessed with another great castle venue, just a few miles away adjacent to Folkestone racecourse is Westenhanger Castle which is also reviewed on this site …two excellent venues !
Charlene and Billy put together a bespoke playlist as the weekend ended in style, it was also a coincidence that my business partner Leyla was working on this wedding. Leyla and I own Wonderland, its an ultimate entertainment package which is detailed in our brochure along with our regular wedding packages.
Its always a privilege to be asked to DJ at a DJs wedding, Billy had previously worked out in Greece for a number of years specialising in garage so it was great to be asked to work for his own wedding and for such a genuinely nice couple, we wish them all the best for their future together.
