A blockbuster weekend of weddings began early on Friday morning for Leanne & Jacks special day at The Hilton in Cobham, Surrey.

Leanne & Jack opted for our Remember Everything Package, its tailor made to provide clients with myself providing the music, dj sound and lighting for the day along with Julia from Remember That? capturing photography for the bridal preps, the ceremony, group photos, speeches and evening disco photography, I also take photos during the day so this package gives the bride and groom even greater coverage of the day keeping the two main wedding day suppliers under one umbrella.

We arrived in Cobham around 11am, Leanne had included Name Projection and Creative Mood Lighting to enhance the Hampton Suite at The Hilton …so on arrival I went to set up those extras while Julia went up to Leanne’s room to capture the bridal prep photos. The Hampton Suite is very well laid out, because its towards the back of the hotel it feels quite exclusive, the main room covers the wedding breakfast as well as the evening disco, there is an hour’s turnaround time after the meal when the guests move just outside the room to the bar area while the tables are cleared and the dance floor is laid/disco set up, the bar area is quite small which is good as it encourages guests to return to the room and enjoy the party.

Once the bridal prep photos were completed and uplighters/name projection installed, Julia and I made our way to Christchurch in nearby Esher to prepare for Leanne’s arrival. The church is actually on a one way system so when the bride exited the wedding car she was greeted by tooting horns and cheers from passers by before making her way into the church accompanied by her father Colin to walk down the aisle and be reunited with Jack at the alter. Photography inside the church was only allowed from behind the bride and groom but we still managed to get some lovely shots of the church and the service as we plotted ourselves in two different positions and afterwards got some fantastic confetti shots before heading back to the Hilton for some more photos of the newleyweds and the family/group shots. Following the meal at around 7pm we returned to the Hampton Suite for the speeches, capturing a few emotional moments in the process before the room turnaround period.

Onto the disco …and what a night it was ! One of the most animated crowds you could wish for, a very easy going group of people just up for a good time with the guests ranging from 20-80, everyone had a fantastic time and there was not one moment when that dance floor wasn’t full.

On a night of many great moments, one particular highlight included the stag party’s favourite … “The Harlem Shake”, but it was a night that had a bit of everything …Leanne was very much into her RnB,  Jack more into his rock , the younger element of the crowd indulged in some garage and the older guests hit the floor to the party classics, even Jacks Aunt triggered off a short spell of hip hop which went down a storm, but it was one of those nights where the atmosphere was great from the start and all ages enjoyed everything that was on the music menu

Whats great about this package is that there’s no element of worry for the bride and groom on their special day, they book one package and everything is taken care of.

end of a hard days night ?

Quality is guaranteed and because we know each other and work together so well the guests in the evening have got to know us over the course of the day which makes for a very relaxed feel in the evening when the formalities are finished …everyone lets their hair down, cuts their shapes to the music and plays up for the camera, this gives us so much more and the bride and groom get a wonderful collection of photos to look back on in years to come.

We had a great time at this one with many great memories …days like this make the wedding industry so amazing to work in. Congratulations once again to Leanne and Jack …you’ve got some great friends and we look forward to hopefully seeing you at one of your friends weddings in the future xx
