On Sunday we finished off the weekend with a first ever visit to The Hoxton Hotel Shoreditch in London for the wedding of Melissa & Carlos which took place in the unique ‘Apartment’ suite at the venue.

Melissa & Carlos had opted for the total music package from us which included a set up before the meal with background music provided through the venues built in bose pa system.

The Apartment as you would imagine is laid of exactly like a high end London pad and guests have access to two rooms, the lounge area where the ceremony, meal and disco takes place and the kitchen which turns into a bar during the evening. I’ve never been anywhere quite like it before and the bonus is that for a London venue its extremely accessable.

We installed the equipment following the ceremony which took place around 530pm, there was a turnaround time of around an hour when the wedding party make their way to the indoor garden area which is located just outside the room in the centre of the hotel which is another unique touch, music can also be piped into that area.

With meals starting slightly later, its quite essential to have the equipment set up before the meal as this eliminates an hour of setting up after which extends the disco time.

The videos below show the room following the ceremony and once the equipment has been installed, please note you also have the option to upgrade to one of our chequered or starlit dancefloors if you wish.
