Our ever popular SoundProof Package which combines our Professional Wedding Photography and Dj service as one package had its third wedding in the space of two weeks at Horsley Towers in Surrey on July 5.
After our fabulous two previous SoundProof weddings at The Gallivant Hotel and Westenhanger Castle, this was our second visit to Horsley Towers following our visit to the venue last December.
We had met Melanie & Ivan back in the winter to initially discuss what they were looking for in terms of photography styles of music requirements, it was a wedding that we had really looked forward as they are a lovely couple and the opportunity to document their special day at such a lovely venue.
Following a hugely successful day in Surrey we would both like to send an extended thank you to Melanie & Ivan for trusting us to be a big part of their special day and even more so for inviting us to sit down with the guests for the meal and really enjoy the occasion as well as photograph it and get the crowd rocking in the evening to finish off a great day at the De Vere venue.
We arrived at the venue late morning …whilst Julia captured documentary bridal prep photography I was with Ivan and his entourage for the grooms preps. During the ceremony I captured everything from the balcony whilst Julia worked the floor before taking the new bride and groom on a pre planned walk around the venue for the couples photos which included shots over the water using the towers as a backdrop, a walk through the woods, photography in the cloisters before finishing up in the lovely chapel.

Australian born Melanie also had a fairly large contingent of friends and family come over from Oz, all of which revelled in the party during the evening, it was a great day and a great night and we wish them both all the very best for the future
