The most eagerly awaited competition in the Kent wedding industry reached its dramatic climax last night on Facebook Live as Gemma & Chris scooped top prize in CHOICE DJ’s £5K Wedding Giveaway.
When informed of the win by telephone around 9pm Gemma said, “I can’t believe it, we would never of been able to afford those services”.

The draw was hosted by Director and Professional DJ Phil Webster at 8pm on CHOICE DJ’s Facebook page, he was joined by by singer Tracie Collins who drew the winning tickets.
Gemma & Chris are to marry at East Quay Venue in Whitstable on June 17th 2017, their wedding experience will now be hugely enhanced by the top prize which includes Documentary Wedding Photography from the bridal preps till the last song of the night, a 6 Piece Function Band, two fully decorated VW Camper Vans complete with a bottle of champagne and a stunning 16×16 Starlit Dance Floor.
Tracie, lead singer for CHOICE DJ’s Function Band said, ” I think it’s a wonderful thing, you never get anything for free these days so it’s lovely to see that sometimes amazing things can happen to real people”
Second prize was won by Hannah & Tony who won a fully decorated VW Camper Van for their wedding transport complete with champagne. Third Prize was won by Billie & Tony who won Party Photography from the First Dance until the last song of the night.
All winners were informed by telephone following the draw.
Phil said, “It was such a pleasure to be able to call all three customers and tell them the good news. I can’t imagine how it must of felt to find out that your getting free services for your special day, particularly when you are on a tight budget as most people are these days”.
Phil added, “The whole point of this competition was to give something back to the industry following our Kent Wedding Award last year and I think judging by the reaction of our winners we have managed to do that. I can wait to see their weddings unfold”.
