Saturday saw us visit The Casa Hotel Yateley in Hampshire for the wedding of Samantha & Darren which took place in the conference and banking suite, it was our first visit to this venue and I was very impressed by the set up they have in place.
Samantha and Darren had opted for the uplighting package from us which included a set up before the meal with background music and 10 uplighters set to blue throughout the day and evening.
We arrived at the venue early afternoon, despite it being a hotel it feels very exclusive as the wedding suite is quite detached from the main part of the hotel. The room itself is tastefully decorated and has a bit of a roman feel with pillar features around the walls which look excellent with the uplighting.
Unlike a lot of venues during the daytime the uplighters show up very well throughout the meal and the remainder of the room is lit very ambiently with ceiling spots and chandeliers which are all dimmable to achieve the correct feel.
The suite is fully self contained with its own bar, toilets and has a seperate entrance to the main part of the hotel which adds to its exclusive feel. Its a good sized room capable of hosting I would guess around 150 guests minimum for the sit down meal (please check that with the venue) and because the floor is already laid there is no wasted time turning the room around …just dim the lights and your into the first dance or at least background music as the evening guests arrive.
The video below shows the set up, dancefloor, bar and uplighting during the wedding breakfast. Please note you also have the option to upgrade to one of our chequered or starlit dancefloors if you wish.

Onto the food …interestingly, the venue has an association with Marco Pierre White who in his time was the youngest chef to receive three michelin stars, he has also trained the likes of Gordon Ramsey. I had an opportunity to sample the sea bass which was prepared, cooked and served to the highest standards I would expect at any high end establishment, its very clear that the Casa Hotel Yateley take the food, planning and overall wedding experience for their clients very seriously whilst delivering a friendly, relaxed and non obtrusive service on the day.
A very good experience at one of the best hotels i’ve worked at in Hampshire.
If you are planning your wedding at the Casa Hotel Yateley please contact us to discuss any of our packages, please note that because this venue is beyond our free travelling radius a £50 fuel surcharge would apply.
