On Wednesday we popped down to the Addington Palace marquee in Surrey to catch up with Deepali and Chris, who are planning their wedding for November, 1 2014.
Singapore based Chris is currently back in the UK for a couple of weeks, so this was a good opportunity for the couple to meet up with their chosen suppliers and go over the logistics five months before the wedding.
I have played previously in the great hall at the venue but not seen the marquee before. Its a very clean and impressive marquee which can reportedly seat 900 for an event, we saw it in its perfect light on a warm sunny day and its a splendid sight with its towering rooftops, gravel pathway, tree lined perimeter and outside sitting areas.
250 guests are due for Deepali and Chris’s big day, with everything due to be captured by TDH Media who were also here for the site visit.
Our service includes 10 uplighters, background music during the meal, a microphone for the speeches and disco through to midnight.
We are also installing an additional sound system to accommodate the space and guest numbers and hoping to get the use of the stage. The use of the stage will also give us the opportunity to spread out the lighting which should look stunning with the use of moving heads, lasers and haze to set it all off (far end photo right).
It’s sure to be a vibrant affair, check back after the wedding for the usual blog, photos and videos from their special day at the Addington Palace marquee.
In the meantime all the best to Deepali and Chris as the planning process starts to take shape.
