TERMS

Choice Entertainment provisionally book the clients required date, subject to availability. A provisional booking expires after a period of 7 days. A booking is not considered final until your contract of service, signed terms and conditions and deposit have been returned. All deposits are non-refundable

The Booking Form is proof of verbal or electronic agreement and shall include any other terms and conditions agreed between both parties (The Client and Choice Entertainment). Any alterations must be agreed by both parties

Outstanding balances are payable on invoice 28 days prior to an event (unless previously arranged). In the event of payment of the final balance not being received Choice Entertainment is not obliged to provide sound and lighting for the event

If the event is cancelled within 28 days of the function, the client is liable to pay the full remaining balance to Choice Entertainment. If an event is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances Choice Entertainment will honour any rearranged date upto 6 months after the original event date. All cancellations or postponements must be confirmed in writing or by email.

The client should specify at the time of booking if he/she requires a specific DJ detailed on the Choice Entertainment website. This will then be confirmed on the clients contract of service. Requests after a contract of service has been returned will be subject to availability.

In the unlikely event of sickness or unforeseen circumstances, Choice Entertainment will provide a DJ who works for Choice Entertainment to provide exactly the same level of playing time and music requirements. If in the unlikely event of sickness or unforeseen circumstances no Choice Entertainment DJ can be provided I will provide an alternative reputable disco supplier to provide exactly the same level of playing time and music requirements. In the extremely unlikely circumstances that neither contingency plan can be put in plan then any fees paid to Choice Entertainment by the client shall be refunded in full and this will be the full extent of Choice Entertainments liability

In the unlikely event that our equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond my control i.e. a power cut) a pro rata refund will be given for the time remaining. Back up equipment is always carried

Upon arrival at the venue, should Choice Entertainment be temporarily rejected due to circumstances not involving Choice Entertainment or should there be a power failure no refunds are applicable regardless of the start time.

Should additional entertainment time be required on the night that has not been agreed beforehand (ie at the time of booking), overtime is charged at £75 per extra hour performed. This must be paid either in full, prior to the commencement of overtime, or on an hourly basis. If payment for overtime is not received, Choice Entertainment are not obliged to provide any further sound and lighting performance (unless previously arranged)

Choice Entertainment will require access to the function room normally upto 1-2 hours prior to the start time to set up and co ordinate sound and lighting and 1 hour minimum to pack up and vacate the venue, these times may vary in the event of access via a flight of stairs. If you have included afternoon music for your wedding as part of my service I will arrive at the venue approximately 2 hours prior to the start of your Wedding Breakfast

Choice Entertainment reserve the right to cancel our services should we discover that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In these circumstances, no refund will be made. The client should ensure that the venue is equipped with at least 2 working standard sockets. If at any time, before or during the event, a Choice Entertainment employee deems themselves or their property to be under threat, we reserve the right to terminate our services without further notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.

Before booking dry ice or smoke machines, it is the client’s responsibility to check if there are any restrictions with the venue.

Choice Entertainment DJs carry Public Liability Insurance and Portable Appliance Testing certificates. We will provide proof of these documents in advance to venue coordinators upon request.

PRIVACY POLICY

Choice Entertainment asks clients to supply personal data when booking an event, such as name, address, telephone and email contact details. We use this data only for the purpose of organisation or communicating with the client about the status of an event. We treat this customer information as private and confidential and we will not disclose this information to other individuals or organisations unless required by law. Choice Entertainment will not distribute customer information to be used in mailing lists, surveys, or any other purpose other than what is required to perform our services
